De Mattis Palace - Corato

Its rectangular houseplant is as big as the whole block rising up on the corner between Roma Street and De Mattis Street. It is called ““u palazz de re pète pezzate” that means “the sharp stones palace” because of the shape of stones covering the front of the building.The sharp diamond shaped stones are inspired to Ferrara architectural style. The diamond shaped stones enclose the main door and  the windows of the palace.
