Ancient Roman bridge - Canosa

It dates back to the I century a.C. and it rises up on Via Traiana (Ancient Roman road connecting Brindisi and Benevento). It joined Canosa and the rest of Daunia (a region in the north of Apulia) allowing commercial and cultural exchanges  between populations. Canosa is one of most important archaeological site of Apulia, many relics and vases found out there are now preserved in many  famous museums all around the Europe.
